For the third year in a row, outdoors magazine Get Out There has named the Ultra-Trail Harricana of Canada the Best Trail/Ultra Run in Eastern Canada.

“Our participants and the members of our community really came out to vote for us,” says President-Founder Sébastien Côté. “It was a big show of love on their part.”

“We wanted to create an event that would be athletically challenge, but would still be fun and friendly,” says General Director Geneviève Boivin. “These are the two aspects people really like, and that’s what got us the votes for the Get Out There contest.”

Co-founder Sébastien Boivin adds, “The Ultra-Trail Harricana team of volunteers should be proud. This success is a gift to everyone involved.” The UTHC’s graphics, under the direction of Geneviève Boivin, were also acknowledged, winning the Best Event T-Shirt category for the third year as well.

The UTHC team would like to sincerely thank all those who voted for the race in these two categories.

The fifth UTHC will take place September 9 and 10, at Mont Grand-Fonds in the Charlevoix region of Quebec. The event is part of the prestigious Ultra-Trail World Tour. Registration for the six distances and the kids’ run is well underway. Sign up now to experience for yourself the Best Trail/Ultra Run in Eastern Canada!
