Bastien Campos

Bastien Campos is a 21-year-old French trail runner based in the Beaujolais region, north of Lyon. A sports science student, he trains on the rolling and technical trails of this area, using its diverse terrain to build a strong and progressive foundation.

Originally from Toulouse, Bastien’s childhood included several relocations, notably time spent on Réunion Island — an experience that played a key role in shaping his passion for trail running and mountain environments. This exposure to varied landscapes helped define his attraction to technical courses and his thoughtful approach to long-term development.

Focused on gradual distance progression, 2025 served as a key learning and transition year, setting the stage for more demanding formats in 2026. His season will be centered around a major objective: the 42 km Saint-Siméon at the Ultra-Trail Harricana du Canada.

Drawn to authentic trail races with strong identity, challenging terrain and a deep connection to nature, Bastien sees Harricana as the ideal setting to express his evolving potential. Racing on Canadian trails and discovering a folkloric atmosphere along the course represents both a sporting milestone and a meaningful new chapter in his trail journey.
