Frédérique Le Roux

Coming from a high-performance sports background, Frédérique grew up in a culture where rigor, discipline, and pushing limits shape her approach. In 2023, she discovered running and trail running, reconnecting with a sense of freedom and connection to nature she had previously experienced through skiing.

Passionate about the outdoors, she mainly trains in the mountains and on trails, where she has quickly developed strong endurance and a high level of adaptability on demanding terrain. Every challenge is an opportunity for her to push her limits, which she approaches with determination and commitment.

Last year, during the 125 km of the Ultra-Trail Harricana of Canada (UTHC), she was running in 2nd position before being forced to withdraw due to injury—a performance that highlights her potential on this distance.

Returning this year to the UTHC 125 km, Frédérique comes in with ambition and focus, ready to push her limits on the wild trails of Charlevoix and establish herself as an athlete to watch.
