Jacob Baril-Arnason is a trail and ultra-trail athlete who has been running for six years and competing in trail running since 2020. His journey in endurance sports has reshaped his perspective on performance and personal limits.

He competed in the 125 km race at the Ultra-Trail Harricana du Canada (UTHC) in 2021 and 2022, earning podium finishes both years. Still seeking a win on this demanding course, Jacob is aiming to return in 2026 to take on the challenge once again.

In recent seasons, he has focused on high-elevation mountain races. After a challenging 2025 season due to injury, he is now back in training and fully committed to a strong 2026 season at UTHC.
