Karla Piccard is a Mexican endurance and trail athlete with strong experience on technical mountain terrain. She has competed in ultra-trail and extreme endurance events, including multiple UTMB-branded races, where elevation gain, technical trails and long hours of effort define the challenge.

Traditionally focused on shorter distances, Karla is stepping into ultra-long-distance racing in 2026 with her debut at the 125 km Ultra-Trail Harricana du Canada. This new challenge reflects her desire to push boundaries and embrace a format that rewards consistency, patience and adaptability.

With a racing philosophy centered on pacing strategy and efficient effort management, Karla’s strengths align naturally with the Harricana course. Known for its rugged terrain, technical trails and wild boreal forest setting, the 125 km offers the ideal stage for her first venture into this iconic ultra-trail distance.
