Coming from a cross-country skiing background, this athlete has recently transitioned to trail running, quickly transferring key skills developed over the years: outstanding cardiovascular endurance, strong training discipline, and an excellent ability to read terrain — all highly valuable assets in trail running and ultra-trail racing.

Since this partial transition to trail, he has embraced new physical and mental challenges, including sustained climbing efforts, energy management over long distances, and constant adaptation to technical, natural terrain. Trail running now complements his cross-country skiing by further developing strength, agility, and durability throughout the year.

After winning the 42 km Classic at the Ultra-Trail Harricana du Canada, he now sets his sights on a top performance at the 42 km Saint-Siméon, widely regarded as one of the most technical and demanding courses of the UTHC, this coming September.
