Maude Cyr is a trail runner for whom trail running is truly a way of life. A teacher and mother of two, she finds in trail running the balance between family life, work, and her need for freedom. Running in nature is her space to reset, challenge herself, and connect deeply with the outdoors.
Active year-round, Maude also practices snowshoe running and cross-country skiing during the winter. Deeply committed to social causes, she completed fundraising projects in 2022 and 2024 for Women Own Sounds in Whistler, running 110 km between Squamish and Pemberton on the Sea to Sky trail. In 2025, she supported the Fondation Jeunes en Tête by completing an 80 km run between Saint-Fabien and Métis-sur-Mer to raise awareness for youth mental health.
Regularly racing in British Columbia, she actively supports her local sports community. Maude will take on the 125 km at the Ultra-Trail Harricana of Canada (UTHC), a challenge that reflects her experience, resilience, and love for long-distance trail running.
