Mylène Sansoucy has been passionate about running and endurance sports since childhood. She first explored marathons starting at age 20, before gradually transitioning to ultra-trail running, which has been her main focus since 2017. Ultra-Trail Harricana was the site of some of her very first podiums in ultra distances, with strong performances on the 65 km course in 2017 and 2019, the 80 km in 2018, and the 125 km in 2022. In 2025, she stood out at Transgrancanaria (127 km) in February, finishing 13th among the world’s elite. She then continued her season with major races in Québec, earning 3rd place at QMT-135 km and victories at UTFS-80 km and UTCC-88 km. In September, she represented Canada at the World Championships in the Pyrenees, finishing 79th in the long-trail event (82 km). In October, she wrapped up her season with a 2nd place at Défi des Couleurs (42 km).
