Antoine Jolicoeur-Desroches Will participate in UTHC 125 Race details
  • Sex : Man

33 years old – ITRA 769

After several years competing on the Ironman circuit as a professional triathlete, I discovered a true passion for ultramarathons. With a PhD in sports science, I’m an exercise physiologist, coach, and podcaster (Le podcast du coach), driven by everything related to endurance and human performance.

After two challenging experiences on the UTHC 125 km, I’m returning this year with the goal of finally crossing the finish line with a smile and a sense of accomplishment. I have a special attachment to this race and this course. So far, the course has had the upper hand on me, but I’m still driven by the same desire to come back year after year.

Carly has been running competitively since her teenage years, and it’s become her favorite way to discover new places and meet people. Since moving from British Columbia to Québec in 2023, she has been fully enjoying the province’s trails—especially those in the Saguenay region, which she now calls home. She particularly loves the spirit of mutual support that defines Québec’s running community: cheering each other on during climbs, sharing training tips, and celebrating every new trail discovered together. Through running, she’s been able to integrate more easily into her new province and make great friends. For her, trail running is a way to feel grounded in her surroundings and be part of a warm, dynamic community.
