This new 80km course (50 miles) will allow finishers to acquire 2 points for The North Face Mont-Blanc Ultra-Trail (UTMB), one of the most prestigious races of its kind in the world.  The race will take place during the UTHC’s 3rd September 12th to the 14th 2014 in the Charlevoix region of Quebec (Canada). Athletes will cover sections of the Hautes-Gorges Park, the Lac au Sable ZEC and the Mont Grand-Fonds. 3000 visitors are expected over the weekend and 1000 athletes will take part in the various courses (80km, 65km, 28km, 10km and 5km).

Geneviève Boivin and Martin Vallières, the race directors, say they are very enthusiastic as well as eager to welcome all athletes on this course which, despite being one of the most difficult in eastern Canada, is not only one of the safest, but also one of the most realistic and feasible, with a success rate of 95% in 2013 on the 65km distance.
