We are pleased to present our ambassadors for this year’s UTHC! Four runners, two women, two men, selected from a pool of 50 outstanding athletes by our jury, composed of Rachel Paquette, Adrienne Auclair-Bédard, Florent Bouguin and Frédéric Berg.

Marline Côté, Lévis (Que.)

marline-coteTrail runner at heart with 5 years of experience under her belt, Marline is an engaged citizen who made the UTHC her ultimate goal for this season. Don’t get her wrong though, training goes hand in hand with a balanced life: family, friends, cultural activities, work, entertainment, etc. Follow her and learn how to live life to its fullest while “remaining true to herself”, as she says.

Marlène Couture, Brossard (Que.)

Marlène CoutureNothing is more important than running to Marlène. In fact, she’s been running for the past 13 years and just started exploring Quebec’s trail running scene. Rather than keeping this to herself, Marlène not only shares her feats on Facebook or her blog, she also speaks through action and even talks about it during get-togethers with friends. Follow her as she trains for the UTHC 65 km event!

Keith Iskiw, Kingston (ON)

Keith IskiwKeith is awesome: ultra-trail runner, ultra-fast, ultra-competitive, ultra-reporter. Not only is his top ranking in Ontario not enough, he is also involved with Trail Running Canada as critic of new equipment and blogger. For this year’s UTHC, Keith is looking to clinch 5th spot at the 80 km event. Want to know more? Follow him!

Nicolas Tremblay, Baie-Saint-Paul (Que.)

Nicolas TremblayAlthough he is only 22 years old, Nicolas is a seasoned runner and former cyclist at the provincial level. Even though he’s been running for 10 years now, he still believes that he has a lot to learn from ultra trail running. Follow him as he explores and gets ready for the UTHC 65 km event!

Follow our ambassadors up to the 2014 edition of the Ultra-Trail Harricana of Canada as they share their passion and thoughts during training. We invite you to subscribe to their blog and follow them on their Facebook page. Cheer them on as they make their way to this season’s main event, the UTHC, to be held on September 13, 2014.
