Adrienne Dunbar

Adrienne is an ultra-runner from Whitehorse, Yukon. She started trail running in Edmonton as another way to race and compete following cross-country skiing in university. She started by competing in 5 Peaks races, but wanted to see how far she could run. Her connection to the running community is what keeps her coming back to ultra-running and is part of the reason she loves it so much.

She ran her first ultra in 2015 at TrailStoke in Revelstoke, where she placed 3^rd. Since then, she has had the opportunity to participate in many multi-day events including the GORE-TEX Transalpine Run in 2019. She has competed in several ultras since 2016, finishing on the podium for most and placing in the top 10 in others.

 Most of her races have been in Western Canada, so she’s excited to come explore the trails of Charlevoix, and we’re thrilled she’s coming!
