Do you really want your medal?
Ultra-Trail Harricana of Canada is an environmentally responsible event, and wishes to reduce the production of medals that often end up at the bottom of our drawers.
This year, when you cross the finish line, you’ll have the option to take a picture with your participation medal at the UTHC photo booth, then exchange your medal for a water bottle or a $5 voucher towards the Harricana boutique.
The medals collected will be transformed into keychains or fridge magnets. The idea is also to get athletes to consider the attachment they really have to their participation medal.
How does it work?
Receive your medal at the finish line and get a picture with it if you wish
Make your way to the UTHC booth at the finish line to trade your medal in for a water bottle or a $5 voucher to use at the boutique (valid during the event weekend only).
Want to keep your medal?
There are many ways to use your UTHC medal in your everyday life:
- As a Christmas tree decoration
- As a coaster during happy hour
- Under furniture to level it.
